Phil Bollig is a Licensed Master Social Worker at Encounter Freedom Therapy Center in Wichita, Kansas. Drawing on training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices, Phil takes a trauma-informed approach shaped by his graduate studies at Newman University.
Phil has experience in the addictions field, family counseling, and supporting clients through life’s challenges with a focus on empowerment, self-awareness, and practical strategies for change. He works with individuals age 12 and older, as well as couples, families, and veterans.
Before becoming a therapist, Phil served six years in the U.S. Air Force and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from Wichita State University. His diverse background allows him to connect with clients from many walks of life, blending structure, creativity, and mindfulness to help each person move toward their goals.
Phil is currently accepting clients with Kansas Medicaid (KMAP) and self-pay options, with additional insurance panels coming soon.
