Jacob Miller, LMSW

Jacob Miller is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). Jacob graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and later attended Newman University where he graduated with a Master of Social Work degree. He is currently working towards becoming licensed at Kansas’ highest level, which is the Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW). 

Jacob is passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families of all types and backgrounds. He aims to provide a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental space for his clients to engage in self-exploration and self-discovery. Jacob believes in utilizing a client-led approach to support clients in their journey to achieving their personal goals and a greater sense of inner peace. As a former certified personal trainer, he views health from a holistic perspective considering mental, physical, and spiritual factors that influence his clients' well-being. 

Jacob is dedicated to continuous learning and development as a psychotherapist through reading books, participating in workshops, attending therapy himself, and by seeking consultation from other experienced clinicians.

When he is not providing therapy services, Jacob enjoys going to the gym, playing slow-pitch softball and other recreational sports, reading, watching football, and spending time with his family and friends. 

Jacob is currently seeing clients on Fridays, with morning, afternoon, and early evening sessions available. He is an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield and all Kansas Medicaid insurances (Aetna Better Health, Sunflower Health Plan, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan), and he also accepts private pay.
